Rapids Cheer

Our competitive cheer team trains once a week, and competes Nationally at Easter. You should have some experience for this elite team, and skills include gymnastics (walkovers, forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, roundoff), dance and stunts. Try-outs are in November.

Level One

Level Two:

Level two is a step up from level one, as more stunts are allowed according to the British Cheer Association rulebook. You may perform a stunt in an unbraced extension, and perform tosses which are not allowed in Level One.

TRAINING TIME:
Sunday Evening
You should have some experience in cheer or dance to be on this competitive squad. You should be dedicated and able to bring something to the team! You should be able to cartwheel, and be working on your flexbility. 2015, 2016 and 2017 were great years for level one taking home trophies for third place every year. In 2017, the extremely competitive division had over 10 teams.
