Rapids Coaches 2018/19

Level One Cheer Coach - Harriet Jackman

Harriet will be in her second year at Bath Spa University. Last year she loved every second of performing with the Rapids and can not wait to coach the Cheerleading  team this season. As her first time taking a University team to the Comp floor she is so excited to begin training and introduce the freshers to an encouraging and supportive community cheerleaders.

Pom coach - Emily Papademetriou 

Taking on a committee and coach role, Emily is so enthusiastic towards the rapids. Emily is so excited to coach Pom as well as being Vice President Dance, and she only began Pom dance this year! She has improved so much and cannot wait to see the freshers improve just as much. Emily can't wait to be an active coach this year! 




 

 

White Team Coach- Sukman Wong

 

Suki has been a cheerleader since she was much younger, and decided to return to cheerleading at university! Suki can't wait to help those new to cheer learn everything about cheer! She is also looking forward to making this sessions as fun as possible while still learning and improving.

 

Jazz Coach- Lucy Cook

 Lucy is going into her 3rd and final year at bath spa and is so excited to take on the role of Jazz Coach. Lucy has thoroughly enjoyed her time as a rapid so far, representing her team, winning medals and making best friends for life.
One of Lucy's highlights was winning a bid to compete in the Jazz devision at Europeans in Prague, 2017 - an experience never to forget.

Technique coach - Cat Wood

 

Cat is entering her third and final year at Bath Spa studying Dance and Business Management. After being a rapid for 2 years and previously being Dance VP and Large Pom Coach she is looking forward to coaching technique this season. She’s excited to put her own experience into helping others learn new skills  whilst continuing to improve herself too. 

Hip Hop Coach - Harriet Jackman

 

Harriet has been a member of the Rapids Jazz, Pom and Cheer teams for a year whilst studying. Harriet is also our cheer coach, and is most looking forward to seeing improvements across the teams, as well as embracing the Rapids team spirit for her second year.
